The United Arab Emirates continues to strengthen its position as one of the world’s leading trade and logistics hubs.
In the first half of 2026, UAE non-oil foreign trade reached a record AED 1.937 trillion, representing a 13.1% increase compared with the same period in 2025. Non-oil exports also achieved a new record of AED 452.8 billion, growing by 23.9%.
The results reflect the UAE’s strategy of economic diversification and the expansion of its international trade partnerships. China remains the country’s largest non-oil trading partner, followed by Switzerland and India.
For the logistics industry, this growth also highlights the strategic importance of efficient ports, transport infrastructure and increasingly connected international supply chains.
The UAE continues to demonstrate how investment in logistics and global connectivity can support trade growth and strengthen a country’s role in international markets.
